A sharp, fast, witty and slightly chaotic New Zealand punk side project with a very memorable 7" single.

Formed by Andrew Boak (guitar and vocals), Geoff Hayden (bass and backing vocals), and Richard Foulkes (drums and backing vocals), The Regulators cut a short, sharp single that captured the rawness of the era.
“Neat Boy” became the band’s contribution to that local punk wave, and their story sits right next to the wider Dabs circle.
They were part of the same scene that fed the Dabs, The Killjoys, and other nearby bands, and the single was part of a DIY spirit that made the Auckland music community feel close-knit and feral.
